Red House

Aside a small lake in Upstate New York, this economical but striking house was built using standardized materials and basic construction techniques. The simple massing contains a voluminous living/dining/cooking area and master suite on the first floor with two bedrooms and bath above. The basic wedge form of the structure is interrupted by a screen porch that links the living space to the adjacent shore and water.
