NoVo Project Honored by WBC

The NoVo Foundation received the Women Build It! Award at the Women Builders Council's 15th Annual Champion Awards Dinner on May 7, 2019. Noelia Linares of TPA, an architect on the project, made WBC's 2019 Outstanding Women in the Building Industry list. The Foundation's Brooklyn headquarters will meet or surpass the goal of having 25% of all hours on the project worked by tradeswomen.

Established in 2004, the Women Builders Council (WBC) is the leading association representing women in the construction industry on several important fronts: legislative advocacy, new business, and professional development with a special focus on leadership. The Champion Awards are an annual event honoring executives, women, and public decision makers who champion WBC’s mission of increasing diversity and the role of women in the construction industry.
